   Chongqing International Exhibition & Trading Center (Trading Center hereinafter) was established by approval of the Administrative Committee of CFTA on August 7, 2011. It is a comprehensive business platform for exchange of commodity, information and technology by customers home and abroad.

   The Trading Center will put the priority to create five-function layout.

   Bonded exhibition

   The Trading Center will build professional exhibition sites to provide duty free experiencing for customers, be directly connected with domestic and foreign markets, gather orders for manufacturers and search commodities for agents to build an outpost and trade center for foreign merchants into western market.

   Commodity trading

   The priority of phase I will be placed on import grape wines to build the largest professional import grape wine market of the Middle and West Part. Now, the business scope contains eight types and more than 4300 import commodities, including household product, food, liquor, cosmetics and health care product, auto and accessories, high end clothing, jewelry and precise machinery. It’s to build a comprehensive shopping center with full type and convenient transaction.

   Logistics and customs clearance

   The Center has perfect infrastructures and enjoys the most preferential and convenient customs clearance policies in Chinese inland to provide all round and professional supply chain services.

   Channel expansion: the Center will set up sub centers and e-commerce platforms in Chongqing CBD and other key provinces and cities to construct a vertical marketing network linking with manufacturers, dealers and final users and cover domestic and international markets.

   Enterprise services

   The Center will provide all round services for the enterprise settled in the Center, including more than 50 items, such as government administration coordination, product consultancy, financial services and trade logistics.

   Currently the first phase of the Trading Center, a 10000 ㎡ exhibition hall, is already in use. The second phase of a 40,000㎡comprehensive exhibition and trading center is under construction, and will be completed in 2015. The third phase of 400,000㎡ business facilities is formally included in the planning.
